The Carli Suspension Pintop King 2.5 Remote Reservoir Front & Rear Shocks AS-DPT25SPKG-6-03-D is an upgraded suspension system for your Ram 2500/3500 that takes the performance of the Backcountry system to the next level. Known for its versatility, the Pintop is one of Carli's most popular all-around suspension systems, offering a significant boost in both off-road capability and on-road ride quality.
The Pintop system features King 2.5" remote reservoir shocks at all four corners, specifically tuned for Carli's performance standards. The shocks are engineered with custom pistons designed to optimize flow rates, ensuring they work seamlessly with heavy-duty truck platforms like the Ram 2500/3500. The shocks are further tuned based on extensive field testing to deliver a superior ride that truly shines when you're behind the wheel.
One of the standout features of this shock package is the use of 17-4 stainless steel shock shafts. Unlike the standard shafts on King shocks, Carli's shafts are machined and polished from a solid piece of stainless steel, providing added durability and resistance to the elements. These shafts don't require a coating that can wear off, and they are less prone to damage from weather or minor impacts, unlike stock hardened shafts. If any minor chips occur, the edges can be smoothed with emery cloth, ensuring the seal housing stays intact.
This suspension system is finished with King oil that is rated to perform in temperatures as low as -55-degree F, offering consistent performance in extreme conditions. However, for those who regularly drive in inclement weather, Carli recommends wrapping the shocks in 3M to create a moisture barrier for added protection.
