Carli Suspension CS-AAMTRUSS-03 Fabricated Front Axle Truss

The Carli Suspension Fabricated Front Axle Truss CS-AAMTRUSS-03 is specifically built for the AAM American Axle found under the Dodge Ram 2500/3500 models. The Carli Axle Truss is a crucial component for the avid off-roader that routinely puts their truck in extreme situations. The factory AAM axle is susceptible to bending from the forces encountered in normal or extraneous offroad activities, leaving the truck with a "smile" that leads to worn tires and steering components. At the heart of the Truss is an internal network of 1/4" thick x-bracing and reinforcement ribs that zig-zag down the length of the axle. Coupled with the axle tube saddles, Upper C Gussets, Lower C Doublers, and CNC manufactured plates, the Carli Fabricated Truss will keep your axle straight and intact for that next blast down a desert trail.

This Truss is not a direct-fit item and will require skilled fitment and installation. The cutting, grinding and welding needs of this part mandate that only certified or similarly capable welders attempt to install this unit. Knowledge of dissimilar metals (Cast/Forged/CRS) is highly recommended. This product should only be installed by a competent and knowledgeable fabricator/welder. Due to variances in production methods, castings, and model year changes, it might be necessary to trim/grind/fit both the Truss and the Axle.
