It has a heat-reducing design and a metal-impacted clear anodized aluminum shock body that dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel body shock. The external reservoir increases oil and nitrogen capacity and provides a striking race look. The black anodized reservoir mounting clamp and other components are CNC machined from 6061-T6 aluminum. The high-flow damping piston, developed for racing, is matched with application-specific valving to provide a predictable ride quality that can handle rough road conditions.
