With over 15 years under the belt of the Dodge/Ram 6.7L Cummins, and even more under its preceding 5.9L offering, we're seeing trucks with 500,000 miles or more on them. There is a myriad of ways to destroy a camshaft, from oil starvation, absurd levels of boost or ignoring that redline that’s on the tach for a reason. Now, the factory charges near an old Dodge Neon for a factory cam replacement, Hamilton Camshaft offers OEM replacement at a fraction of the cost.

Understand though, even per their own website, this is an OEM clone.  No performance gains will occur, they are modeled after the same lift and duration as the factory piece. There are, however, small adjustments to materials and dimensions to promote longevity and reliability.
