The Kryptonite Wheel Bearing Spindle Bolt (Zinc Plated) KR1571 will replace the broken bolts on your GM Silverado/Sierra 2500HD/3500HD. Because factory spindle bolts are prone to rust and wear, Kryptonite plated their bolts with zinc to stop oxidation. If you're replacing your wheel bearings, Kryptonite always suggests replacing these bolts for an easy install. The torque needed to install these zinc-plated bolts, which link the wheel bearing to the spindle, is 133 ft lbs. For this reason, Kryptonite advises replacing them when changing your wheel bearing.
