Plug and Play Installation. The S&B Tank comes with all the components to remove your 31-gallon tank and replace it with our 55-gallon tank. The tank mounts in the stock location using the included straps.

The tank occupies the space forward of the OEM fuel tank.

Fuel Gauge Functionality
Even with more fuel on board, your fuel gauge will remain working. The gauge will stay on full for the first 7-10 gallons, but then continue to move as normal. The distance to empty however will still be calculated based on the stock fuel capacity.

For example, at 20mpg and a full tank (55 gallons), you will have an 1100 range but your distance to empty will show 620 (20 MPG 31 gallons).

Built To last. Backed by a Lifetime Warranty
Made out of 1/4 Inch thick crosslink polyethylene, these tanks are built to last and are backed by our lifetime warranty.

Important notes:

The fuel gauge will continue to work however the distance to empty will not be accurate. There is no way to update the fuel tank size for the distance to empty to be accurate.
OEM sending unit & float are reused because the S&B Tank is taller the gauge will stay on full for the first 8-10 gallons.

The nozzle at high-flow fuel stations(truck stops) will not be able to fill automatically.
